Ingredients

  • 3 pounds Chicken wings & drumettes
  • 2 teaspoons jerk seasoning
  • 1 ½ cups mango nectar
  • ¼ cup light brown sugar firmly packed

Instructions

  • Place the chicken wings and drumettes in the crock pot in a single layer or in an even pile.
  • In a bowl, mix the jerk seasoning, mango nectar and light brown sugar until the sugar dissolves. Pour the sauce over the wings and toss or turn the pieces to coat them evenly.
  • Cover and cook on high for about 3 hours, turning the wings twice during the cooking time so they cook and absorb the sauce evenly.
  • For extra texture, transfer the wings to a parchment-lined cookie sheet and broil for a few minutes until the skin browns and crisps. Watch closely to avoid burning.
