Strawberry Pineapple Freezer Pops – learn how to make popsicles with just frozen fruit, coconut water, and pure maple syrup.

Every Thursday and Friday my husband and his brother spend long days mowing yards. Robbie runs a landscaping business, and those two days are devoted entirely to mowing—often 35 to 40 or more yards over the course of two days.
Those long outdoor hours are exhausting and make it hard for them to stay hydrated, cool, and protected from the sun. While looking for easy snacks to pack, I decided to try homemade popsicles. I ordered popsicle bags and made these freezer pops for the first time last week.
They were a hit. These freezer pops are simple to make, tasty, healthier than store-bought treats, and wonderfully refreshing on a hot day.
How to make popsicles
- Add frozen fruit, coconut water, and maple syrup to a blender and blend until smooth.
- Fill popsicle bags with the blended mixture and seal tightly.
- Lay the popsicle bags flat in the freezer and freeze until solid.
- Enjoy!

This is only the second flavor I’ve made and I already have many more ideas. These strawberry pineapple ice pops are tropical and fun — I’ll be making them often.
It’s hard to believe how few ingredients you need: frozen fruit, coconut water, and pure maple syrup. I wish I’d started making these sooner!

This recipe yields about 15 popsicles.
Where to buy bags for popsicles
After reading reviews, I chose a set of popsicle bags that included 125 bags and a funnel — a very economical option. They were easy to fill, and we cut the tops off the bags for easier eating. Making your own popsicles is fun and satisfying.
If you purchase through an affiliate link I use, I receive a small commission at no extra cost to you.

You can substitute the frozen fruit for whatever you have on hand. Ideas I want to try next:
- Watermelon popsicles
- Strawberry watermelon popsicles
- Strawberry lemonade popsicles
- Blueberry popsicles
- Mixed berry popsicles
There are so many possibilities. I plan to make these all summer long.
