Spring often brings cravings for lighter, fresher foods. When you find yourself reaching for juicy tomatoes, crunchy carrots and leafy greens, it’s your body seeking hydration and nutrition. These Healthy Chicken Caesar Wraps answer that call: they’re light, balanced and portable—perfect for enjoying outdoors while soaking up some Vitamin D.

The wraps combine familiar, delicious ingredients with sprouted-grain wraps that boost both flavor and nutrition. Sprouted grains undergo a natural process that releases enzymes and breaks down some proteins and carbohydrates, making these foods lower on the glycemic index and easier to digest. Sprouting also raises levels of B vitamins, folate, fiber and essential amino acids, increasing the overall nutritional value.

I used Angelic Bakehouse Sprouted 7-Grain Wraps for these Chicken Caesar Wraps. These wraps are made from sprouted whole grains and are pressed into the dough to highlight natural sweetness, reducing the need for refined sugar. Their texture and flavor make them a great base for fresh fillings.

Now, let’s wrap this up with the recipe. Start by steaming two boneless, skinless chicken breasts for about 15 minutes, or until the internal temperature reaches 165°F. Season the breasts with dried oregano, red pepper flakes, salt and pepper before steaming; this method keeps the chicken moist and flavorful.

While the chicken cooks, wash and prepare fresh vegetables—lettuce leaves, vine tomatoes, radishes and shredded carrots work especially well. Slice the tomatoes and radishes and have everything ready for assembly.

Ingredients

  • 10 Angelic Bakehouse Sprouted 7-Grain Wraps
  • 2 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
  • 10–20 leaves lettuce
  • 4 vine tomatoes, sliced
  • 6 radishes, sliced
  • 2 cups shredded carrots
  • 1/2 cup Caesar dressing
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • 1 pinch sea salt and pepper, to taste
  • 1 tsp dried oregano
  • 1/2 tsp red pepper flakes

Instructions

  • Season the chicken with salt, pepper, garlic powder, oregano and red pepper flakes. Steam for about 15 minutes, or until the internal temperature reaches 165°F. Let cool slightly.
  • Wash and prep the vegetables. Slice tomatoes and radishes, and shred carrots if needed.
  • Slice the cooked chicken to your preferred thickness.
  • To assemble each wrap: place a wrap on a clean, flat surface. Add a large lettuce leaf (or two), then arrange 3 tomato slices and 3–4 radish slices.
  • Place chicken pieces on top, add shredded carrots to taste, and finish with a drizzle of Caesar dressing.
  • Start rolling from the side with the vegetables, holding tight as you roll. Keep the seam side down to secure the wrap; use a toothpick if needed.
